When your friends go out for roles that you told your agent your were right for, but never got seen for

I know these feelings well and I had to come up with some solutions. The biggest one was answering:

What am I uniquely qualified to do as an actor?

The answer lay in the power of knowing my recurring emotional chords. The recurring emotional lessons that I have mastered. Once you have a clear emotional understanding of how you specifically solve archetypal problems that every human faces; your emotional knowing makes you uniquely qualified to play characters struggling with similar life lessons. Your emotional chord is your unique take on that emotional journey and it impacts every aspect of your career from crafting auditions, creating characters, choosing marketing material to branding and packaging your work in a way that the industry understands.
