why is a CD, agent or manager wasting ur time having a back and forth conversation abt ur availabilty and/or re-arranging ur life for a job no one has told u anything about how much the job is paying
working actors have a team: a manager who should be filtering all industry requests. it goes a little something like this: How much is your time, experience, expertise worth? Mine is 10k. My manager does not even begin a discussion w/me abt availabilty without first telling me what the contract is, the minimum I would be paid. Then we can have a conversation abt what I’m willing to do to make myself available for the job and/or all the hoops I’m going to have to jump through to get it or whether they just need to make an offer. If you’re 10 years into ur career, reviews/credits up the ass, still paying off ur education & training while still prepping for auditions for jobs, u have no idea what the pay is; u need to take a look at what ur self-worth Boundaries is abt establishing clearly how much your time is worth. Once you know that, CEASE & DESIST from having conversations w/anyone unwilling to meet ur requirements for engagement. SIGNup for the BadAssActor blog @www.TheDreamUnLocked.com
